Brent and I painted until dark today, and then kept painting with our headlamps. I took a picture of the mural before it got dark though. Before I show you that, check out how nicely Pat cut up these leeks:

ReplyDeleteI can see many elements in this mural that you started cultivating in your first drawings when you were 7, 8 years old. I have some notebooks someplace with those stories you told page by page, starting with a pen dot and following what was a seed into a plant, a shrub, a tree, then it would harbor birds nesting and having babies... the mother bird feeding the baby birds, I must add that the worms in this mural are exactly like the ones you drew as a child...
